Please note that the Foundation will not review or respond to any unsolicited letters of inquiry or proposals. The S&P Global Foundation funds only charitable, not-for-profit organizations exempt from federal income taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Chief People Officer, S&P Global
Girish Ganesan is Chief People Officer of S&P Global and a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team. In this capacity, he leads the global people and corporate responsibility function, driving performance, impact and innovation across a dynamic workforce of 42,000 employees in more than 41 countries. His mandate includes shaping the employee experience, building forward-looking capabilities, and cultivating a culture of agility and high-impact leadership. Mr. Ganesan also serves on the boards of the S&P Global Foundation and CRISIL (an S&P Global company), where he is a member of the Nominating and Compensation Committee.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Ganesan was Senior Vice President, People for several business lines including S&P Global Ratings, Sustainable1, Kensho and Enterprise Technology. He also oversaw the people agenda for Enterprise Legal & Government Affairs and Risk & Compliance, while serving as the Enterprise Workforce Lead on S&P Global’s AI Council, guiding the intersection of human capital and emerging technology.
Before joining S&P Global, Mr. Ganesan held senior leadership positions at TD Bank Group, Manulife and Accenture, with experiences spanning total rewards, executive succession, leadership development, enterprise transformation, HR shared services and global talent strategy.
A recognized thought leader in the human capital space, Mr. Ganesan has been honored as one of the Top 50 Global HR Leaders (2024), Top 10 HR Executives to Follow (2023), Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 (2019) and HR Professional of the Year (2013).
He holds an honors degree in Political Science and Economics from Delhi University and has completed postgraduate studies in Human Resources Management from Humber College and Corporate Governance from Columbia Business School. He is also a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL).
Deeply committed to social impact, Mr. Ganesan serves on the Board of All Stars Project Inc., a nonprofit focused on youth development through after-school programming. He has also served on the boards of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA). He actively mentors rising talent and is a sought-after global speaker on workforce transformation, AI-powered talent innovation and the evolving role of leadership in shaping organizational culture.

Chief Digital Solutions Officer, S&P Global
Swamy Kocherlakota is Executive Vice President, Chief Digital Solutions Officer of S&P Global and the Executive Sponsor of Kensho, an artificial intelligence (AI) technology innovator within S&P Global. He is responsible for driving the Company's digital transformation and delivering productivity improvements for customers and colleagues.
With a focus on leading-edge technology, digital ecosystems and AI, Mr. Kocherlakota and his team are responsible for building a secure, scalable and resilient foundation that helps S&P Global power global markets.
Prior to joining S&P Global, Mr. Kocherlakota was Senior Vice President, Global Head of Technology Operations & Infrastructure at Visa Inc., where he oversaw global infrastructure and applications that processed more than 130 billion transactions annually.
Before Visa, Mr. Kocherlakota was head of Global Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture at Bank of New York Mellon Corp and led their infrastructure transformation. Mr. Kocherlakota has been recognized as a Distinguished Engineer at Lucent Bell Labs, where he managed technology for Lucent and its ventures.
In addition to his role as Chief Digital Solutions Officer, Mr. Kocherlakota sponsors S&P Global’s Asian Professionals for Excellence (APEX) People Resource Group, which is focused on building leadership competencies and increasing opportunities for personal, professional and community success for its members.
Mr. Kocherlakota is a Registered Representative of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Michigan State University.

Head of Data & Research
Before his current role, Warren led the Data Management Solutions business of Market Intelligence with responsibility for the division’s data feed, cloud, and other strategic distribution channels, along with management of CUSIP Global Services and Trucost, now part of Sustainable1.
With over 25 years in banking and financial information services, Warren has held senior leadership positions across various global firms, including Thomson Reuters, Primark, and The Chase Manhattan Bank. He joined S&P Global in May 2015 to lead the Investment Management business.
Warren earned a bachelor’s degree from Clark University and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University. He serves on the Board of Directors for the New York American Heart Association and the S&P Global Foundation and previously served on the Scarsdale Library Board of Trustees. Warren is also the executive sponsor of VALOR, the S&P Global Employee Resource Group that supports veterans and their families.

Vice President, Asia-Pacific
She is responsible for all commercial activities in Asia Pacific (APAC) including sales and new business development strategies, global commercial relationships with APAC's largest and most strategic customers, as well as business strategies in the region's developed and emerging markets. Ching is a board member of S&P Global Asian Holdings and the Chair of the S&P Global Commodity Insights APAC leadership team.
Ching joined S&P Global Commodity Insights more than 15 years ago, moving through various commercial leadership roles with the key focus on ensuring that S&P Global Commodity Insights delivers client-focused sales outcomes throughout APAC. Her experience covers a diverse spectrum of geographies, commodities and customer segments ranging from exploration companies, miners, traders, to end-users such as utilities and airlines, as well as government agencies and financial institutions. Under her leadership, the scale and diversity in S&P Global Commodity Insights' market share, business portfolio and commercial organization in APAC have grown significantly.
Before joining S&P Global, Ching worked in the highly competitive Singapore technology sector for over 10 years, partnering with world-class leading companies such as IBM, Microsoft Corporation, Dell EMC and Cisco Systems, to develop bespoke enterprise solutions for corporations and governments. This included 4 instrumental years building successful business models in a technology start-up, covering the areas of system integration, cybersecurity, data analytics, business applications and network infrastructure.
For 2 years, Ching also supported The National Kidney Foundation in Singapore, where she led the implementation and growth of the corporate sponsorship department.
Ching received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Business and Marketing from the Murdoch University in Perth, Australia.

General Counsel, S&P Global Market Intelligence
Alma is a member of the S&P Global legal department, and her practice focuses on securities, corporate finance, and governance. She also leads a team of attorneys providing advice on securities, corporate finance, governance, labor, employment, benefits, ERISA, and immigration. In addition, Alma supports the Board of Directors on Audit Committee, Finance Committee, and corporate governance matters. She is also responsible for subsidiary management in the Americas, including the S&P Global Foundation, the company’s charitable arm. Alma previously served as Senior Director and Associate General Counsel at S&P Global Ratings. Prior to joining S&P, she was in private practice, specializing in complex financial transactions throughout the Americas.
Alma earned a bachelor's degree in history and political science from Stanford University. She earned a juris doctor from the Columbia University School of Law, where she also served on the Editorial Board of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law and completed a certificate in Comparative and International Law from the Parker School of Foreign and Comparative Law.

Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer
Chris Craig is Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of S&P Global. In this role, he leads the Company’s internal and external financial reporting, the Real Estate Function, and the Company’s global accounting and control functions. Among Chris’s responsibilities are designing, implementing, and enforcing the Company’s corporate accounting policies and internal control structure, executing the financial and accounting due diligence for the Company’s acquisitions and dispositions, and partnering with the Company’s Legal, Finance, Human Resource, Strategy and Internal Audit functions to ensure adherence to domestic and international financial reporting requirements.
Chris joined the Company in 2010 and previously held positions of increasing responsibility becoming an Audit Partner at Grant Thornton LLP, one of the world’s leading organizations of independent assurance, tax, and advisory firms. While at Grant Thornton, although primarily based in New York, Chris had the opportunity to work and live in Australia and London where he was responsible for building local U.S. GAAP practices focused on delivering accounting advisory and audit services to non-U.S. foreign private issuers.
In his free time, Chris enjoys skiing, rock climbing, biking and wood working. Chris graduated from Miami University in 1996 with a BS in Accountancy.
